This is a green door. I can hear you saying, "Very good, Linda - you know your colors and you have figured out that this is a door." Well, very funny... arr arr arr! If you look closely at this door, you will see that it is locked. We are seemingly trapped on this side and cannot walk through. But wait, what if we knew how to get the key to unlock the door?
Visualization is a powerful tool when working toward a particular goal. This is my green door and there is only one way I can gain access to the key in order to unlock it. On this side is 30 extra pounds that are not allowed on the other side. Until that weight is lost, I am stuck on this side of the door - trapped and alone. Once the weight is gone, that key will be placed in my hand and I will unlock the door, open it and walk through to the other side! Life is bound to be much better on the other side of the door since I will be a better me. I'm seeing it. I will do this.
Ask me what is over there - go on, ask me. I don't know for sure what is there, but I can tell you that a much happier Linda will be walking through the door! A lighter, more confident person - but more importantly - a more healthy person with tons of energy and happiness to spare! The more weight I can take off, the happier my health will be! As we've discussed in previous posts, the greatest wealth you can possess is your health. No, that's not an original thought, but it's true nonetheless.
I do not have a problem sharing my vision with anyone who wants to work with me. There are just a few small changes that have to be made in order to see the desired result. Wellness is basically the absence of sickness, but really it is more than that. To feel well is amazing actually. It will be such a feeling of freedom to shed that extra weight and unlock that green door - and then walk through it!
Wellness consists of getting plenty of sunshine for vitamin D, drinking plenty of water (with lemon) for hydration and alkalizing benefit, getting plenty of rest. Some people frown on an afternoon nap, but most days around 2pm I take a little catnap and do not apologize for that. Move a bit - about 30 minutes every day, which is about 2% of the time out of your busy schedule. Come on - squeeze it in. An alkaline based diet to keep your cells strong and healthy. Alkaline just means to think "green" - the darker green, the better. And less stress is best, which in our world is nearly impossible. There is stress all around but if we learn how to cope with it constructively it can work to our advantage. If we can just learn to BREATHE deeply and count to ten before violently raging we would all be better off.
Once we get started on the routine this month, there is another challenge I want to issue to you which begins on April 1, 2013. I have decided to accept the challenge because frankly, I'm tired of this extra weight tagging along behind me - yes, that's where it is - it's a real pain in my... !!!
