Thanks for being an INCREDIBLE KID

The post on my blog today is a little different.  I don't have any "words of wisdom" (cough, cough) to bestow about my life with Type 2 Diabetes or encouragement to exercise.  Today I just want to share with you the faces of a few kiddos who are so brave because they have Type 1 Diabetes!!!  What these kiddos face every day makes my Type 2 Diabetes look like a walk in the park.

You guys know if I could fix it and make it all better - you know I would!

Today is INCREDIBLE KID DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We all know some pretty incredible kids - but I'd like to give a shout-out to all the special kiddos that battle Type 1 Diabetes!!!  They are really special and their parents are

This poem is for all the INCREDIBLE KIDS everywhere!

Show them Jesus
"Let the children come."
Jesus wants the small ones near.
Let their simple faith embrace
Their Master's love so dear.
Teach them of God's mercy,
His kind, forgiving ways.
Teach them of God's promise
Of eternal, peaceful days.
Show them by example
The way He'd have us live.
Show them of what's right and good;
To care, and love, and give.
Through thee troubled, worldly times
Fret your heart no more.
Know that children's eyes are on
Jesus Christ, our Lord.
